Description:

• Flax is a herbaceous plant with fibrous stems that branch in a corymb shape. Its thin stems bear narrow, lance-shaped leaves of a glaucous bluish green.
• Its light, delicate, funnel-shaped flowers are light blue and measure between 2 and 3 cm in diameter. They move with the slightest breeze throughout the summer, adding graceful movement to your garden.

Growing tips:

• Flax seeds are sown directly or in pots, in partial shade, from April to July.
• When the plants have 4 to 5 leaves, transplant them spacing 10 cm apart.
• Protect the young plants from frost before winter, then plant them permanently the following spring, spacing them 30 cm apart.
• Flax will naturally reseed itself every year after its first planting.
