150 Cauliflower Seeds
Description
Cauliflower, appreciated for its mild flavor and its white head, is a must in French vegetable gardens. Here's everything you need to know about this plant:
Characteristics of Cauliflower:
- Delicate flavor: Cauliflower is popular for its rather mild flavor, which makes it the favorite cabbage of the French.
- Soil requirements: Like all cabbages, cauliflowers prefer deep, cool, humus-rich and slightly clayey soil. They also prefer the sun but fear excess heat and drought. In hot regions, it is advisable to install them in partial shade.
Cultivation Tips:
- Sowing: Seedlings can be made in the nursery from March until April.
- Planting: When the seedlings reach a certain size, around 10 to 15 cm high, they can be transplanted into the ground.
- Spacing: Respect a spacing of approximately 50 to 70 cm between each plant.
- Watering: Be sure to keep the soil cool but avoid waterlogging by watering regularly but moderately.
Commitment to Quality: At SemiSauvage - Permaculture, we are committed to providing seeds of the highest quality. Installed near the Auvergne Volcanoes, all our seeds are reproducible, non-hybrid and adapted to our region.
