750 Rapeseed Seeds
Description
Rapeseed, often appreciated for its beauty in our countryside and its agricultural usefulness, can also be a valuable asset in the garden. Discover all that these rapeseed seeds can bring to your green space:
Description:
- Rapeseed is not only used as a leguminous plant to enrich the soil with minerals, but it is also edible and very attractive to bees.
- As a green manure, it is ideal for covering the soil during the off-season, improving its structure with its strong roots, and preventing weed growth.
- Its leaves keep the soil cool and release nutrients as they decompose, making it an excellent choice for gardeners concerned about soil health.
Culinary Use:
- Rapeseed leaves can be used in cooking. It is recommended to consume them within 3 days of harvest, after washing, rolling in a damp cloth, and storing in the refrigerator. They can also be blanched and frozen.
- Rapeseed flowers can be eaten fresh within hours of picking.
