Bright Sage "Feu de la Saint-Jean" (Salvia splendens) is a spectacular ornamental plant, known for its bright red flaming spikes that light up gardens all summer. 

Perennial plant in warm climates, often grown as an annual in our latitudes. It forms beautiful bushes 30 to 60 cm high, ideal for borders, flower beds, or flowering pots. It is drought-resistant once established.

Uses:
Native to South America, Bright Sage is mainly used for summer ornamentation. This variety attracts bees, butterflies, and other pollinators thanks to its abundant and nectar-rich flowering.

Growing tips:

• Sowing: From February to April, indoors or under cover, in pots or trays.

• Ideal germination temperature: 20 to 25 °C.

• Germination time: 10 to 20 days depending on temperature
  

• Transplanting: After the last frosts, in light, well-drained soil and full sun.

• Watering: Regular but moderate.

• Stratification: Not necessary.
