Black Périgord Truffle Mycelium - Mushroom Cultivation Kit
Description
Description :
This kit contains a sterilized tube of Périgord Black Truffle mycelium, ready to be diluted in sugar water and spread on the ground to start your cultivation. Grown from the Tuber melanosporum strain under sterile conditions, this mycelium is ideal for home gardeners wishing to grow their own truffles.
The mycelium contained in this tube develops in symbiosis with trees such as oak, hazel, pine or linden.
Growing Instructions:
-
Preparing the sugar water mixture:
- Use bottled mineral water to reduce the presence of chlorine.
- Add preservative-free apple or lemon syrup (about 10% of the volume of water).
- Mix the mycelium contained in the tube at a rate of 10 ml per liter of sugar water mixture.
-
Mycelium development:
- Leave the mixture away from light in a room at 20°C minimum for at least 4 to 5 days to allow the mycelium to develop.
-
Soil inoculation:
- Dig a hole about 20 cm near the roots of a tree.
- Cover with compost or humus and keep everything sufficiently moist.
The mycelium will begin to colonize your garden after a few weeks. For best results, test in multiple locations.
