Conical Morel Mycelium - Mushroom growing kit

Description :

This sterilized tube contains Conical Morel mycelium, ready to be diluted in sugar water and spread on a substrate to start your culture. The Conical Morel, or Morchella Conica, is a mushroom sought after for its unique flavor and delicate texture.

Growing Instructions:

1. Preparing the sugar water mixture:

   • Use bottled mineral water to reduce the presence of chlorine.
   • Add preservative-free apple or lemon syrup (about 10% of the volume of water).
   • Mix the mycelium contained in the tube at a rate of 10 ml per liter of sugar water mixture.

2. Mycelium development:

   • Leave the mixture away from light in a room at 20°C minimum for at least 4 to 5 days to allow the mycelium to develop.

3. Soil inoculation:

   • Dig a hole about twenty centimeters in your garden or in the forest, ideally near brush and fruit trees.
   • Cover the hole with compost (leaves, wood, straw, coarsely decomposed) or humus.
   • Keep the substrate sufficiently moist for a few days.

4. Growth Conditions:

   • The Conical Morel prefers cool soil with moderate exposure to sunlight.
   • Conduct tests in different locations to determine optimal conditions.
