Button Mushroom Mycelium - Mushroom Growing Kit
Description
This sterilized tube contains button mushroom mycelium, ready to be diluted in sugar water and spread on a substrate to start your culture. Growing Button Mushrooms is ideal for amateurs, providing a rewarding and delicious experience.
Growing Instructions:
Preparing the sugar water mixture:
Use bottled mineral water to reduce the presence of chlorine. Add preservative-free apple or lemon syrup (about 10% of the volume of water). Mix the mycelium contained in the tube at a rate of 10 ml per liter of sugar water mixture.
Mycelium development:
Leave the mixture away from light in a room at 20°C minimum for at least 4 to 5 days to allow the mycelium to develop.
Substrate inoculation:
Use a substrate such as horse manure, coffee grounds, straw, wood chips, or compost. Place the inoculated substrate in a room between 14°C and 20°C, ideally away from light. Keep the substrate moist.
Growth Cycle:
The first mushrooms will appear approximately 3 to 4 weeks after the start of cultivation. Harvest the mushrooms as they develop, around ten days after their appearance. With good growing conditions, you can get up to 4 successive flocks of mushrooms.
Cultivation Tips:
Button mushrooms are suitable for indoor cultivation. Be sure to maintain consistent humidity to encourage growth.
