Mycelium of Bordeaux Ceps - Mushroom cultivation kit
Description
This sterilized tube contains Bordeaux Ceps mycelium, ready to be diluted in sugar water and spread on a substrate to start your culture. The Bordeaux Cepe, also known by the scientific name Boletus edulis, is a delicious mushroom prized for its rich flavor and pleasant texture.
Growing Instructions:
Preparing the sugar water mixture:
Use bottled mineral water to reduce the presence of chlorine. Add preservative-free apple or lemon syrup (about 10% of the volume of water). Mix the mycelium contained in the tube at a rate of 10 ml per liter of sugar water mixture.
Mycelium development:
Leave the mixture away from light in a room at 20°C minimum for at least 4 to 5 days to allow the mycelium to develop.
Soil inoculation:
Dig a hole about twenty centimeters in your garden or in the forest, near oaks, beeches, spruces or pines. Cover the hole with compost (leaves, wood, straw, coarsely decomposed) or humus. Keep the substrate sufficiently moist for a few days.
Growth Conditions:
The Bordeaux Cepe prefers cool soil with moderate sunny exposure. Carry out tests in different locations to find the optimal conditions.
