Description
Marguerite Daisy (Callistephus chinensis) – 100 seeds
Also known as Chinese Marguerite, Chinese Aster, or simply Callistephe, the Marguerite Daisy is a spectacular annual flower, valued for its bright colors, abundant flowering, and elegant silhouette. Cultivated since the 18th century, it is a staple of country gardens and fresh bouquets.
This plant forms bushy clumps 50 to 80 cm tall and offers generous blooms from mid-summer until the first frosts.
Uses:
The Marguerite Daisy is ideal for flower beds, borders, or window boxes. Its vase life also makes it an excellent cut flower for creating colorful summer bouquets. It attracts bees and other pollinators.
Planting tips:
Sow seeds in pots indoors from February to March or directly outdoors from April.
Germination occurs in 10 to 14 days at a temperature around 18–20°C.
Plant in light, well-drained soil in a sunny location.
Water regularly without excess and pinch the stems to encourage branching.
Recommended pairings:
Pairs perfectly with cosmos, zinnias, cornflowers, lavateras, or nigellas. For a pastel harmony or a striking contrast, it suits all garden styles.

Traditionally, the Marguerite Daisy symbolizes loyalty, patience, and sincere thoughts. It is often given as a token of lasting affection or deep friendship.
