This page describes the processing of data from the mailboxes connected to SemiSauvage Mail Workshop, a work tool reserved for authorized SemiSauvage users. It describes the mail component and the other Google connections in the same project; it does not replace the information relating to purchases from the store.
Data accessed and purposes
With the account holder's authorization, the application accesses Gmail messages, their headers, their content, attachments necessary for tracking, and technical synchronization information. This data is used to view and classify mail, track professional requests, and match correspondence with order and after-sales service records.
Gmail collection remains read-only. A separate gmail.modify authorization may be granted by the account holder solely for the semisauvage@gmail.com and semisauvage.contact@gmail.com mailboxes to retain order notifications. Google technically gives this authorization broader capabilities, including drafting and sending; the retention program uses only the movement of individual messages to the trash, after deterministic checks.
Other Google connections in the same project
The Google Calendar connection, authorized separately, allows connected calendars to be viewed and events to be managed within the authorized scope: professional and personal appointments and deliveries. Dates, titles, descriptions, and references necessary for tracking may be stored in the Workshop and its backups. Personal details are subject to separate access rights.
The Search Console connection, also separate, allows authorized properties and site information accessible to the connector to be read. It is used to monitor the SemiSauvage site. It does not give the connector permission to modify Search Console. Data from these functions is reserved for users and support functions authorized according to their role.
Access and AI assistance
Working copies and tracking items are stored in the SemiSauvage infrastructure and its backups. Access is subject to authentication and permissions associated with authorized functions. Mixed-use mailboxes are classified message by message; messages identified as personal or security-related are subject to access restrictions.
Collection and the rules for recognizing known notifications operate without AI calls. For qualification or assistance features activated in the Workshop, relevant professional content may be sent to the configured OpenAI service to classify, analyze, or prepare a response. Authorized users may view the records necessary for their work. Gmail data is neither sold nor used by SemiSauvage for advertising targeting.
Retention, revocation, and requests
The data is used to track correspondence and retain items necessary for professional records. For the two designated professional Gmail mailboxes, the retention rule applies only to simple new-order notifications without attachments, at least 60 days old, when the order has an independent record and no active case or workflow depends on the email. Cancellations, disputes, refunds, invoices, and customer correspondence are excluded. A retained notification is moved to the Gmail trash, and its active copy in the Workshop is then removed after confirmation; Gmail normally permanently deletes its trash after an additional 30 days. Earlier backups are not deleted by this rule and may retain this data for longer. Revoking Google access stops the relevant new access; it does not automatically delete copies or backups already created. Archiving a message in the mail system is separate from moving it to the trash.
The account holder may withdraw their authorization from their Google account settings. To request access to, rectification of, or deletion of data retained by the Workshop, contact semisauvage@gmail.com. Each request must make it possible to verify the identity and scope concerned, and is reviewed with regard to ongoing records, applicable obligations, and backups. No password should be sent by email.
Changes to how it operates
This information will be updated if the uses or processing methods change. Retention authorization is separate from collection and specific to each mailbox; publishing this page alone does not trigger automatic deletion.
