This kit contains a tube of liquid Hedgehog mushroom mycelium (Hydnum repandum), produced under optimal sterile conditions. The mycelium is ready to be diluted in a sweetened water solution to start cultivation.
Hedgehog mushrooms prefer symbiotic environments with trees such as:

- Conifers such as pines and firs
They thrive in soils rich in organic matter, slightly acidic to neutral (pH 5.5 to 6.5), well-drained, and exposed to partial light.

Cultivation instructions

Preparation of the sweetened water mixture :
- Use bottled mineral water to avoid contaminants like chlorine.
- Add about 10% preservative-free apple or lemon syrup (glucose/fructose).
- Mix the contents of the mycelium tube at a rate of 10 ml per liter of sweetened water.

Mycelium development :
- Place the mixture in a dark room at a stable temperature of at least 20°C.
- Let rest for 4 to 5 days until the mycelium filaments develop and the liquid becomes cloudy.

Soil inoculation :
- Dig holes or trenches about 20 cm deep in your garden or forest.
- Fill them with leaf compost, wood, straw, or enriched humus.
- Spread the mycelium mixture over the substrate, then add a thin layer of mulch to preserve moisture.

Humidity : Maintain constant humidity, especially during dry periods.

Temperature : Favor a moderate climate between 10°C and 25°C.

Exposure : Prefer slightly shaded areas or indirect light.
