Sheep's Foot Mycelium - Mushroom Cultivation Kit

This sterilized tube contains Sheep's Foot mycelium (Hydnum repandum), ideal for easily starting your own mushroom cultivation at home. Sheep’s Foot is appreciated for its delicate flavor and unique texture.

Growing Instructions:

1. Preparing the sugar water mixture:

   • Use bottled mineral water to reduce the presence of chlorine.
   • Add preservative-free apple or lemon syrup (about 10% of the volume of water).
   • Mix the mycelium contained in the tube at a rate of 10 ml per liter of sugar water mixture.

2. Mycelium development:

   • Leave the mixture away from light in a room at 20°C minimum for at least 4 to 5 days to allow the mycelium to develop.

3. Soil inoculation:

   • Dig a hole about twenty centimeters deep in your garden.
   • Cover the hole with compost made from leaves, wood, straw, grass clippings or humus.
   • Make sure the substrate remains sufficiently moist for a few days.

4. Growth Conditions:

   • The Pied de Mouton prefers cool, well-drained soil, while benefiting from exposure to partial sun.
