Yellow Chanterelle Mycelium - Mushroom growing kit
Description
Description :
This kit contains a sterilized tube of Yellow Chanterelle mycelium (Cantharellus cibarius), available in 15 ml or 50 ml format. Ready to be diluted in sugar water and spread on the ground, this mycelium is grown under sterile conditions to guarantee the best possible quality.
Yellow chanterelles particularly enjoy the company of oaks, beeches, spruces, pines and fruit trees. They prefer cool, sunny soil.
Growing Instructions:
-
Preparing the sugar water mixture:
- Use bottled mineral water to reduce the presence of chlorine.
- Add preservative-free apple or lemon syrup (about 10% of the volume of water).
- Mix the mycelium contained in the tube at a rate of 10 ml per liter of sugar water mixture.
- For example, use 15 ml of mycelium for a 1.5 liter bottle of sugar water, and 50 ml for a 5 liter bottle.
-
Mycelium development:
- Leave the mixture away from light in a room at 20°C minimum for at least 4 to 5 days to allow the mycelium to develop.
-
Soil inoculation:
- Dig a hole of about 20 cm in your garden or forest.
- Cover with compost (coarsely decomposed leaves, wood, straw) or humus.
- Keep everything sufficiently moist for a few days.
The mycelium will begin to colonize your garden after a few weeks. For best results, test in multiple locations. The chanterelle begins to develop fruit bodies in June and finishes in October. If conditions are ideal, the mycelium can live for several years and grow in your garden.
