40 Sunflower Seeds
Description
Celebrated by Van Gogh and appreciated worldwide, the "sunflower" is a giant of great simplicity. Discover why sunflowers are garden essentials:
Characteristics:
- Sun and simplicity: The large yellow daisies of sunflowers ask for only one thing: sun! Their bright beauty will brighten your garden and attract attention.
- Adaptability: Sunflowers adapt to different soil types, including poor, sandy, or rocky soils, as long as they are well-drained. Fresh, rich, and well-loosened soil will promote more abundant flowering.
Growing tips:
- Sowing: Sow the seeds directly in the ground from late April to mid-June, after all risk of frost has passed. You can spread out sowing over time to extend the flowering period.
- Maintenance: Sunflowers are relatively easy plants to care for. Keep the soil slightly moist, especially during dry periods, but avoid excess water that could cause root rot.
Garden usefulness:
- Aesthetic: Sunflowers bring a touch of light and warmth to your garden with their bright flowers and majestic stature.
- Attraction for wildlife: Their abundant flowering attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies, adding life to your garden.
Commitment to Quality: These sunflower seeds are produced by SemiSauvage - Permaculture, near the Auvergne Volcanoes. They are reproducible, non-hybrid, and specially adapted to the region. Selected, sorted, stored, and carefully packaged, these seeds are guaranteed free of any chemical treatment, for the greatest pleasure of amateur gardeners.
